Courtney Embrey, LEED AP, ASLA

About

Courtney Embrey gained professional experience in planning and urban design from an international design firm in California and residential landscape architecture in New York City as a freelance designer. She also has five years of experience as a construction assistant at an architectural specialties general contracting company. In addition to North America, she has worked on projects based in Europe, the Middle East, North Africa, Asia and South America.

Courtney is a LEED accredited professional and received her bachelor’s degree from Cal Poly Pomona in which she and her team won an ASLA Award of Excellence and an Honor Award. Most recently, she was a finalist for “Build a Better Burb”, an ideas competition to retrofit Long Island downtowns. She also placed second in an international urban design competition that called for methods of cultural infusion within the last factory block in Beijing’s Central Business District.

New York City is where Courtney calls home and the base for her freelancing career.
